President Ersin Tatar issued a message via his social media account to commemorate founding president Rauf Raif Denktaş on the 10th anniversary of his passing.

In his message President Tatar wrote, “even as he gave his last breath, the founding president Rauf Raif Denktaş said that we should protect the TRNC and never let go of Turkey’s support. He continues to shine a light on our struggle and our path.”
