President Ersin Tatar has expressed his sorrow over the earthquake that struck Düzce, Türkiye.

President Tatar took to social media to voice his sadness and concern regarding the recent earthquake to hit Türkiye.

In his post the President wrote: “I would like to express my concern for the 5.9 magnitude earthquake that hit Gölyaka, Düzce. Our greatest wish is that there is no loss of life. I wish the injured a speedy recovery. May Allah protect us from all kinds of disasters and on behalf of me and my people; I convey my best wishes to the Turkish nation”.
