President Ersin Tatar stated that the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus has shown much development in the tourism sector.

Speaking during a visit paid to him by the Association of Turkish Travel Agencies, President Tatar noted that the TRNC is an island for tourism and that despite all the difficulties everything is being done to attract more tourists to the island.

Emphasizing that there has been good achievements in the name of tourism in the TRNC, President Tatar stated that despite the embargoes, a perception has emerged and people all over the world are aware that there is a different culture on this island.

Noting that the TRNC’s nature, greenery, blue sea, culture, friendliness and hospitality is a culture that comes from history, President Tatar stated that investments have increased despite all the problems being experienced and expressed the hope that more tourists will come to the TRNC from Motherland Turkiye.
