President Ersin Tatar signed the Condolence Book, which was created at the British High Commission on the death of Queen Elizabeth II.
“Queen Elizabeth II, a person who devoted her life to the service of her country and people, supporting charities and different communities, will be remembered with respect as a source of strength and inspiration in the world” Tatar wrote in the condolence book.
President Ersin Tatar signed the Condolence Book created for Queen Elizabeth II at the British High Commission and expressed his sadness on behalf of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus and the Turkish Cypriot people.
President Tatar was welcomed by the newly appointed British High Commissioner to Cyprus İrfan Siddiq at the British High Commission.
“On behalf of the TRNC and Turkish Cypriot people, we share your deep sorrow over the death of Queen Elizabeth II. I express my deepest condolences to King Charles III, all members of the Royal Family, the people of the United Kingdom and the Commonwealth of Nations,” President Tatar wrote in the condolence book.
“Queen Elizabeth II, a person who devoted her life to the service of her country and people, supporting charities and diverse communities, will be remembered with respect as a source of strength and inspiration in the world. During this time of mourning, our prayers are with King Charles III, the Royal Family and the people of the United Kingdom. May the soul of Queen Elizabeth II rest in peace” Tatar added.
