A pre-school education complex at the Dikmen Primary School was inaugurated on Monday by the Minister of National Education and Culture Olgun Amcaoğlu.
The complex is made up of six classrooms and an administrative office.
Speaking during the ceremony, Education Minister Amcaoğlu underlined the importance of investing in education for future generations.
He said that it was necessary to keep politics out of education and that the state had a duty to address growing needs at schools.
Pointing out that the ministry’s efforts to improve and upgrade infrastructure at schools were continuing, Amcaoğlu thanked all those who contributed to the construction of the pre-school section of Dikmen primary school.
The acting headmaster of Dikmen Primary School Kaan Bahçeci who also spoke during the ceremony drew attention to the school’s needs, pointing out that the number of students had doubled over the past ten years.
He also highlighted the importance of face-to-face education at pre-schools and primary schools.
