President Ersin Tatar received the Retired Senior Staff Colonel Dr. Oğuz Kalelioğlu who played a major role in the defence of the Gazimağusa region during the 1974 Peace Operation.

Speaking during the visit held at the Presidential Palace on Tuesday, Kalelioğlu expressed support to President Tatar’s solution policy based on two separate equal states.

He also presented his books on the Cyprus issue to the President.

President Tatar for his part congratulated Kalelioğlu for his outstanding success during the Gazimağusa defence.
