Speaking during the visit the President pointed to the importance of forests and said “We need forests for oxygen to maintain a healthy environment and life”.

Speaking during the visit President Ersin Tatar stated that there is a great need for forests for oxygen, for a healthy environment and a healthy life.

He said that forestation efforts will begin as soon as possible in the areas that were destroyed by the fires.

President Tatar also drew attention to the fact that he will not hesitate to do his part to heal the wounds of the ecological destruction that was caused by the fire within the framework of the authority granted to him by the law.

“Planning the aftermath of the fire and producing solutions with all stakeholders for the rehabilitation of burned areas should be our priority” said Tatar.
