An airplane carrying President Ersin Tatar had to land in Ankara due to bad weather conditions in Istanbul.
The Turkish Airlines flight which took off from Ercan Airport at around 1pm on Monday was forced to land at Ankara’s Esenboğa Airport due to a windstorm in Istanbul.
President Tatar and his accompanying delegation passed on to Istanbul today.
Tatar will be attending and delivering a speech at the 36th session event of the Marmara Group Strategic and Social Research Foundation.
