Lawyer Dr. Berna Çelik Doğruyol, who has held the duty of Presidential Spokeswomen for nearly a year has handed in her dismissal request to President Ersin Tatar.

In a statement, Presidential Spokeswoman Doğruyol said that she had conveyed her request not to renew her contract, which expires on the 1 of November 2021 to President Tatar.

Doğruyol said that she wanted to be able to continue with her own private affairs and academic career.
