Presidents Tatar and Erdoğan express condolences

President Ersin Tatar and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan both issued messages expressing their deepest condolence to the Royal Family and the British people over the death of Queen Elizabeth II.

President Ersin Tatar issued a message upon hearing of the news of the passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.

In his message President Tatar wrote “It is with great sorrow and sadness that I have learned of the passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. Our deepest condolences to the Royal Family, the British people and the Commonwealth”.

Meanwhile Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan also issued a message of condolences on the death of Britain’s Queen Elizabeth II on Thursday.

In a message he shared on Twitter, Erdoğan said he extends his condolences to the friendly people of the United Kingdom and the allied government upon the death of the queen, which he said he learned with “great sadness.”
