Regaip Kandil, which is the first Friday night of the month of Rajab, will be realized this evening.

President Ersin Tatar congratulated the Turkish and Islamic world on the Regaib night and wished it would bring goodness to all humanity.

Regaip Kandil, also known as the “Night of Wishes”, is one of the five blessed Kandil nights in Islam and marks the beginning of the Three Holy Months of Islam.”

As Islamic holidays begin the night before, Regaip Kandil is celebrated on the Thursday night preceding the first Friday of the month of Rajab.

A special program will be realised at the Hala Sultan Mosque this evening and will be broadcast live on BRT-2 at 6pm.

President Ersin Tatar published a message to mark the occasion.

In his message the President noted that the Regaip Kandil, which marks the beginning of The Three Holy Months of Islam is being perceived tonight and congratulate the Turkish and Islamic world on the night of Regaip.

He expressed the hope that this blessed night will bring goodness to all humanity and the world.
