Prime Minister Ersan Saner said that President Ersin Tatar presented a letter to him and to the Speaker of the Parliament that he has accepted the government’s resignation.

He was also informed that the current government will continue until a new government is formed.

“The laws that are on the parliament’s agenda will no longer be discussed. The draft laws sent from the Prime Ministry will be given priority and taken up at parliament” said Saner and added that a new government model does not seem possible.

Reminding that as the government they had carried out a variety of serious projects and tenders and put their signatures to a variety of actions Saner stated that as the National Unity Party they are ready for early elections.

“We want to determine the election date” said Saner and added that as soon as the party’s congress is completed they are ready to embark on discussions relating to a date for early elections.
