The leader of the National Unity Party and Prime Minister Ersan Saner presented the coalition government’s resignation to President Ersin Tatar on Wednesday.
Speaking after presenting his resignation to the President, Saner said that the quorum problems in parliament, developments experienced within the coalition partners, the Democrat Party and Rebirth Party and problems in the government have led to this decision.
The National Unity Party, Democrat Party and Rebirth Party coalition government which had signed a coalition protocol on the 8th of December 2020 had received a vote of confidence on the 19th of December 2020.
