The Speaker of Parliament Önder Sennaroğlu spoke to BRT after his meeting with President Ersin Tatar on Thursday.

Explaining that he held telephone conversations with political party leaders, Sennaroğlu said he conveyed the political party leaders the need for convening the parliament with the aim of passing some awaiting important laws.

“The political party leaders said they will be discussing the issue at their authorized party organs and will then submit their decisions” he added.

Stating that he will be convening the Advisory Committee of the Parliament, Sennaroğlu expressed the hope that if there will be a consensus the General Assembly would convene to pass the laws.
