President Ersin Tatar attended the “Together We Are Strong” award ceremony organized by the Cyprus TMT Fighters Association on Sunday.

Addressing the ceremony, the President noted that the great struggle waged by the Turkish Cypriot people under difficult conditions was remembered during such events.

Expressing his happiness to be attending such an event, Tatar said that the fighter commanders took part on the frontline in the Turkish Cypriot people’s history of resistance.

Noting that it was a duty of loyalty to remember the struggle waged by Turkish Cypriot people under difficult conditions at 103 villages, he praised the fighter commanders who served on the front line.

“We are strong together and we will continue to be strong” President Tatar stressed.
