President Ersin Tatar has condemned the terror attack in Gaziantep which claimed the lives of two civilians and injured 11.

“This terror attack on innocent civilians is the greatest demonstration of desperation,” he said.

President Ersin Tatar on Monday condemned the heinous attack in Gaziantep’s Karakamış District which killed two civilians and injured 11.

“It is with great pain and anger that I have learned of the death of civilians in Gaziantep as a result of rockets launched by the terrorist organisation YPG/PKK from northern Syria,” he said in his message.

Tatar pointed out that the attack carried out by the terrorist organisation funded by foreign forces was the greatest demonstration of desperation.

The president also said that such attacks were futile and that nothing could succeed in dividing or breaking Türkiye’s determination and unity.

“That is why the whole world and peoples need to adopt a clear and sincere stance against terrorism,” he said.
