President Ersin Tatar has congratulated the Deputy Speaker of Legislative Assembly of the State of Victoria, Australia Natalie Süleyman, who is of Turkish Cypriot heritage, on her appointment as a minister.

Tatar said that Süleyman’s election has become a source of inspiration for Turkish Cypriots living in Australia.

President Tatar has sent a message to the Deputy Speaker of Legislative Assembly of the State of Victoria, Australia Natalie Süleyman who is of Turkish Cypriot origin, congratulating her on her appointment as Minister of Veterans, Small Business and Youth.

In his congratulatory message, Tatar said that Süleyman was a source of pride for Turkish Cypriots as she was the first Turkish Cypriot and Muslim minister in the cabinet of the State of Victoria.

He added that Süleyman’s appointment has become a source of inspiration for women as well as Turkish Cypriots living in Australia.
