President Ersin Tatar received the Balıkesir Sındırgı Mayor Ekrem Yavaş and his accompanying delegation.

Speaking during the visit President Ersin Tatar stated that the Turkish Cypriot people are an inseparable part of Turkey and that Turkey always supports the Turkish Cypriot people.

Touching upon the Cyprus issue, President Tatar said that they were explaining to the world their new vision which entails two sovereign separate states living side by side and emphasized the importance of further strengthening relations with Turkey.

Pointing out that it is important for the TRNC to benefit from all of Turkey’s experiences President Tatar added that he appreciates the work of the municipalities.

The visiting delegation from Turkey informed the president regarding the work they are carrying out on tourism, agriculture, culture and arts and expressed the hope that the close relations between the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus and Turkey will further develop in the future.
