President Ersin Tatar on Wednesday received delegations from the Türkiye and Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus Business Women’s Associations.

Speaking during the visit President Tatar emphasized that women carrying out activities in a variety of fields is a sign of wealth.

President Ersin Tatar met with the President of the Federation of Entrepreneurial Businesswomen of Türkiye (GİFED) Huriye Serter, the President of the Adana Business Women’s Association Berman Mantı, the President of the TRNC Businesswomen’s Association Selin Candemir and members of the board of directors.

Speaking during the visit, President Tatar stated that the TRNC and the Republic of Türkiye were working hard to further develop their relations in every field.

He expressed his appreciation at the efforts being made to support women entrepreneurs so that they could gain more ground in civil society organisations and economic and social life.

He also drew attention to the importance of cooperation and solidarity of women both in Türkiye and the TRNC.
