President Ersin Tatar received on Tuesday a delegation from the Eurasia Economic Relations Association.

Ways of bringing more foreign students to the country as well as solving problems caused in the TRNC’s higher education sector due to the pandemic were discussed during the meeting.

Present at the meeting was the President of the Board of Directors Hikmet Eren, Deputy President Kemal Kurnaz and an expert from Turkiye’s Trade Ministry’s Foreign Trade Department Ömer Akın.

The head of the Higher Education Planning, Evaluation, Accreditation and Coordination Council Prof. Dr Turgay Avcı and the National Unity Party’s (UBP) Güzelyurt MP Ziya Öztürkler were also present at the meeting.
