President Ersin Tatar received a delegation from the Turkiye’s Tradesmen and Craftsmen and Credit and Guarantee Cooperative Union on Wednesday.

Speaking during the visit, President Tatar referred to the ongoing efforts towards perpetuating and further strengthening the TRNC.

He said investments in the fields of tourism and agriculture as well as in other fields had increased further.

Stating that there was serious restructuring taking place in every sector in the TRNC, Tatar noted that the negative effects of the Ukraine-Russia war were also being felt in the country.

Expressing the hope that the war will end soon, the President said “I hope there will be peace in the world, the pandemic will end and all wars will come to an end.”

Stressing that all problems were being faced together with solidarity in the TRNC, he said “I believe that better days are ahead.”

Referring to the TRNC’s big potential, Tatar underlined that the country’s tourism will develop further with the Maraş opening.

“The education sector gained momentum with students from abroad and motherland Turkiye. I believe that such contacts with Turkiye will continue to increase” President Tatar added.
