President Ersin Tatar paid a visit to the Central Bank on Thursday.

Speaking there, President Tatar stressed that the TRNC was developing.

“It is inevitable to have budget deficits in the country despite the measures taken and work carried out during the pandemic. The TRNC which is a developing country needs investments” Tatar said and noted that the economy was being sustained through protocols signed with Turkey, infrastructure works, project support, defence expenditure and contributions to the public finance.

Stating that with vaccinations and openings being made during the pandemic process, students from abroad have begun returning to the country, he stressed that the demand for the TRNC has increased and expressed the belief that the current financial difficulties will be overcome through proper management.
