President Ersin Tatar received the President of the Federation of All Bureaucrats and Business People Mehmet Hüsrev and the President of Turkish Kempo Federation Halis Avşar on Tuesday.

Speaking during the visit, President Tatar said that the visits of the delegations from Turkey were important and referred to the significance of increasing cooperation with Turkey in every field.

“We will not allow anyone to break our ties with Turkey” Tatar said and reiterated that a solution could only be possible through the cooperation of two co-existing equal sovereign states.

Noting that he was always ready to negotiate with the other side for a solution in Cyprus, the President stressed that the acceptance of the Turkish Cypriot side’s sovereignty was necessary for the start of official negotiations.

Touching upon the Maraş issue, he noted that Maraş was a centre of attraction which also attracts great attention from Turkey.
