President Ersin Tatar is taking part in a symposium that is being organised at the Sabancı Cultural Centre in İzmir, Turkey titled “The Aegean and Problems of Neighbourly Relations with Greece”.
President Tatar left for Turkey in the early hours of this morning solely to take part in this symposium.
Speeches will be delivered by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, President Ersin Tatar, Turkish Minister for National Defence Hulusi Akar and the Rector of the Dokuz Eylül University Prof Dr. Nükhet Hotar at the two day symposium.
Many local and foreign professors and experts will be attending the symposium that will discuss a variety of topics namely “A Brief History of Turkish-Greek Relations”, “Political and Military Relations” and “Problem Areas: The topics of Territorial Waters, Continental Shelf, FIR, Airspace, EGEYDAAK, Unarmed Status of Islands, Search and Rescue Areas.”
