Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu who is in New York in line with the 76th UN General Assembly meetings met with TRNC Foreign Minister Tahsin Ertuğruloğlu.
Minister Çavuşoğlu who held consultations with Ertuğruloğlu ahead of the UN General Assembly meetings pledged Turkey’s support to the Turkish Cypriot people via his social media account.
“The sovereign equality and equal international status of the Turkish Cypriot people should be registered as soon as possible. We will continue to act shoulder to shoulder” Çavuşoğlu tweeted.
