The Speaker of the Republic’s Assembly Zorlu Töre said that the Claw-Sword Air Operation was the biggest response to those with dirty ambitions.

The Speaker of Parliament Zorlu Töre said on Sunday that the Claw-Sword Air Operation, carried out by the Turkish Ministry of National Defence, was the biggest response to those with dirty ambitions.

“It is obvious that the circles that are disturbed by the fact that the motherland Türkiye has become a great and global power in the region have put forth their best efforts to destroy the unity and solidarity of the Turkish nation,” Töre said.

“The treacherous terrorist attack that we experienced recently with the bomb attack in Istanbul is just one example that proves this argument,” he added.

Töre added that “Operation Claw-Sword”, which Türkiye launched in the early hours of the morning, was the biggest response to those who had dirty ambitions.

“We are pleased with the great success of the operation in the north of Iraq and Syria,” he stressed.

“I wish success to all our security forces who took part in the operation, which started with the order of the Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan” Töre said.

“I would like to stress that the treacherous plans of the terrorist groups cannot divide our motherland and the Turkish Nation, and I would also like to stress that the Turkish Cypriot people are always by their side ,” Parliamentary Speaker Töre added.
