Tourism campaigns to promote the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) in new markets kicked off today.

₺74m has been allocated for the project which aims to attract a large number of tourists from Europe and Russia in 2023.

According to a statement issued by the Turkish Republic’s Development and Economic Cooperation Agency, a short promotional video, will be used to attract tourists from Russia next year.

A similar promotion film had been successful in attracting British and German tourists last year, the statement said.

The video which is being prepared by the Turkish Tourism Promotion and Development Agency together with the Deputy Prime Ministry and Ministry of Tourism, Culture, Youth and Environment will promote the natural beauties, history, culture and authentic cuisine of the country.
