The launch of Nature Walks and Leadership Training program were realised at the Taşkent Nature Park’s Forest Library that was funded by the Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency.

The Turkish Ambassador to Lefkoşa Ali Murat Başceri took part in the event and stated that Turkiye will continue to support the Deputy Prime Ministry, Ministry of Tourism, Culture, Youth and Environment in order to diversify tourism in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus.

Stressing that there are undiscovered hiking trails on the island and it was important to raise their standards and making them a centre of attraction, Başçeri said that the Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency also contributed to beautifying these trails, making them easily accessible and gaining them to the tourism sector.

He also stated that the agency will contribute to the construction of hiking trails so that not only nature, but also historical places on the island can be visited more.
