The Health Ministry on Tuesday reported 115 new positive cases of coronavirus following 25,872 diagnostic tests carried out in the last 24 hours.

According to the Health Ministry data, 71 positive cases were locally transmitted 44 were under observation for coming into contact with previous Covid-19 cases.

30 of the cases are from the Lefkoşa District, 15 from the Girne District, 20 from the Gazimağusa District and six from the Iskele District.

South Cyprus on the other hand reported 181 new positive cases on Tuesday.

Also, the Health Ministry urges anyone who has come into contact with persons who have tested positive for Covid-19 or those who display symptoms of the virus such as fever, coughing and fatigue or loss of smell or taste to contact the Health Ministry Contact Tracing Team.
