The Health Ministry on Sunday reported 134 new positive cases of Coronavirus following 10,478 diagnostic tests carried out in the last 24 hours.

The ministry reported that five positive cases arrived to the TRNC via air and 38 were contact cases that were under surveillance for being in close contact with other positive cases.

91 cases were locally transmitted.

24 of the cases are from the Lefkoşa District, 35 from the Girne District, 20 from the Gazimağusa District, two from the Iskele District, seven from the Güzelyurt District and three from the Lefke District.

212 people have recovered and have been sent home.

Meanwhile, 100 positive cases were reported in South Cyprus on Sunday.
