The Health Ministry on Wednesday reported 144 new positive cases of Coronavirus following 13,562 diagnostic tests carried out in the last 24 hours.

The ministry reported that six positive cases arrived to the TRNC via air and 33 were contact cases that were under surveillance for being in close contact with other positive cases.

105 cases were locally transmitted.

44 of the cases are from the Lefkoşa District, 20 from the Girne District, 24 from the Gazimağusa District, 11 from the Iskele District, two from the Güzelyurt District and four from the Lefke District.

365 people have recovered and have been sent home.

Meanwhile 182 positive cases and five deaths were reported in South Cyprus on Wednesday.
