The Health Ministry on Monday reported 211 new positive cases of coronavirus following 22,342 diagnostic tests carried out in the last 24 hours.

According to the Health Ministry data, 37 people were under observation for coming into contact with previous Covid-19 cases, while 174 positive cases were locally transmitted.

72 of the cases are from the Lefkoşa District, 49 from the Girne District, 42 from the Gazimağusa District, six from the Güzelyurt District, four from the İskele District and one from the Lefke District.

124 people recovered and were sent home.

Meanwhile, South Cyprus reported 354 new cases on Monday.
