The Health Ministry on Tuesday reported 220 new positive cases of coronavirus following 27,376 diagnostic tests carried out in the last 24 hours.

According to the Health Ministry data 191 positive cases were locally transmitted.

109 people recovered and were sent home.

Meanwhile, South Cyprus reported 386 new cases on Tuesday.

Also, the Health Ministry urges anyone who has come into contact with persons who have tested positive for Covid-19 or those who display symptoms of the virus such as fever, coughing and fatigue or loss of smell or taste to contact the Health Ministry Contact Tracing Team.
