Covid-19 cases in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus continued to show an upward trend over the past week.
More than 2000 cases and two deaths were reported between July 6 and July 12.
The number of daily Covid-19 tests carried out by the Ministry of Health has increased following an increase with people showing symptoms of the virus.
Accordingly, 16,692 tests were carried out between July 6-July 12 and a total of 2,776 positive cases were detected.
Two people, aged 90 and 75 died due to the virus this week.
