The Health Ministry on Tuesday reported 324 new positive cases of coronavirus following 19,411 diagnostic tests carried out in the last 24 hours.

According to the Health Ministry, 37 people were under observation for coming into contact with previous Covid-19 cases, while 287 positive cases were locally transmitted.

115 of the cases are from the Lefkoşa District, 72 from the Girne District, 68 from the Gazimağusa District, 11 from the Güzelyurt District, 17 from the İskele District and four from the Lefke District.

While three people died from the virus 240 people recovered and were sent home.

Meanwhile, South Cyprus reported 619 new cases on Tuesday.
