The Health Ministry announced 552 new cases of coronavirus after conducting 16,493 tests on Sunday.

It was reported that 226 individuals were detected in Lefkoşa, 90 in Girne, 135 in Gazimağusa, 45 in Güzelyurt, 44 in İskele and 12 in the Lefke District.

While one person died from the virus 451 people have recovered.

Meanwhile South Cyprus reported one death and 2,225 new cases on Sunday.
