The Health Ministry on Monday reported 74 new positive cases of Coronavirus and one death following 22,614 diagnostic tests carried out in the last 24 hours.
According to the Health Ministry data, 57 cases were locally transmitted, four of them were from overseas and 13 were under observation for being in contact with previous COVİD 19 cases.
24 of the cases are from the Lefkoşa District, 18 from the Girne District 11 from the Gazimağusa District, three from the Iskele District and one from the Güzelyurt District.
61 people have recovered and have been sent home.
South Cyprus reports 117 positive cases and one death in the last 24 hours.
Meanwhile, the partial curfew, which came into force as part of the fight against Covid-19, has been lifted.
The Council of Ministers lifted the curfew, which was valid from 00.00 at night to 05.00 in the morning.
The decision came into force after being published in the Official Gazette.
