During the meeting, the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC)-Azerbaijan relations and the latest developments regarding the Cyprus issue were discussed.
After completing his New York contacts, Ertuğruloğlu will move on to Washington where he will continue to hold a variety of contacts.

During the meeting, in which Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Kemal Köprülü, TRNC Washington Representative Mustafa Lakadamyalı and Third Secretary Seval Gökeri were also present, the latest developments regarding the TRNC-Azerbaijan relations and the Cyprus issue were discussed.
After completing his contacts in New York, Foreign Minister Tahsin Ertuğruloğlu will travel to Washington where he will meet with officials of the US State Department.
Minister Ertuğruloğlu will meet with officials and experts at a roundtable meeting of the Washington Institute for Near East Policy to evaluate the latest developments on Cyprus.
He will also meet with members of the press while in Washington.
