TRNC delegation came together with TR Foreign Ministry delegation

A delegation from the Office of the President and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs carried out a variety of visits in the Turkish capital Ankara.

According to a tweet on the Turkish Foreign Ministry’s official page, the two ministries discussed the Cyprus issue, the opening of Maraş and the latest developments taking place in the Eastern Mediterranean and cooperation.

The Turkish Deputy Foreign Minister Ambassador Sedat Önal, the TRNC Foreign Ministry Undersecretary İsmet Korukoğlu and the TRNC negotiating team came together at the Turkish Deputy Foreign Ministry.

The Foreign Ministry Undersecretary İsmet Korukoğlu, President’s Special Representative Ergün Olgun, President’s Confidence Building Measures and Bicommunal Technical Committees Coordinator Güneş Onar, the Foreign Ministry Consular Affairs Director Hüsnü Duba, the TRNC’s Ambassador to Ankara Kemal Köprülü, Presidential Advisor Osman Ertuğ and the Presidential Advisor for Legal Affairs Sülen Karabacak made up the delegation that are carrying out contacts in Ankara.
