The Republic’s Assembly TRNC-Türkiye Inter-parliamentary Friendship Group is holding contacts in Ankara.

The delegation’s first visit was to Atatürk’s mausoleum, Anıtkabir.

The TRNC-Türkiye Inter-parliamentary Friendship Group headed by National Unity Party (UBP) MP Resmiye Canaltay embarked on its contacts in the Turkish capital on Tuesday.

The head of the delegation Resmiye Canaltay wrote in the special book that they will continue to work uninterruptedly to further to promote the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus formed with the support of motherland Türkiye.

The delegation consists of UBP MPs Oğuzhan Hasipoğlu and Fırtına Karanfil, the Republican Turkish Party (CTP) MP Erkut Şahali, the Peoples’ Party (HP) MP Jale Refik Rogers, the Rebirth Party (YDP) MP Talip Atalay and Parliament’s General Secretary Seral Fırat.
