Turkish Vice-President Fuat Oktay commemorated the martyrs in line with the 21^st-25^th of December National Struggle and Martyrs Remembrance Week.

Via his post on his social media, Turkish Vice President Oktay said “it has been 59 years since the brutal Bloody Christmas massacre attacks carried out by the Greek terrorist organization EOKA against the Turkish Cypriots in Cyprus. I commemorate with mercy our 364 compatriots, whose martyrdom still burns our hearts.”
