A medical supply agreement has been signed between the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) and the Republic of Türkiye in the field of health.

According to the agreement, Türkiye will be donating important medical supplies such as cancer medicines, serum fluids and antibiotics.

The Health Ministry has announced that an agreement has been signed between the TRNC and Türkiye for the donation of medical supplies.

The agreement was signed following the latest contacts carried out by the Health Minister İzlem Gürçağ Altuğra in the Turkish capital Ankara.

According to the announcement, the first batch of supplies has been delivered to the Medicines and Pharmaceutical Depots in the TRNC.

Minister Altuğra said that the Republic of Türkiye, as in all other fields, does not refrain in supporting the Turkish Cypriot people in the area of health.

She thanked her Turkish counterpart Fahrettin Koca and the Turkish government for their generous support and contributions.
