MPs Özdemir Berova and Armağan Candan represented the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) at the meetings of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe’s Committee on Foreign Affairs and Democracy.

The meetings took place from September 12-13.

National Unity Party (UBP) MP Özdemir Berova and Republican Turkish Party MP Armağan Candan held a number of bilateral meetings with MPs from different countries on the sidelines of the PACE meetings.

The conflict in Ukraine as well as Turkish-Greek relations, political developments in the Balkans, the peace processes in Syria and Libya, the Eastern Mediterranean and the Cyprus Issue were discussed during the committee meetings.
