Working hours and shifts of pharmacies from September 12, 2022, to September 17, 2023, have come into force after being published in the Official Gazette.

The Cyprus Turkish Pharmacists Association issued a statement on Thursday announcing the winter and summer working hours of pharmacies across the country.

According to the new schedule, pharmacies located in the Lefkoşa, Gazimağusa, Girne, Lapta, Alsancak, Karşıyaka and Güzelyurt areas will be open from 8 am-5.30 pm on weekdays and from 8 am-1:30 pm on Saturdays during the winter period which will continue until May 14, 2023.

During the summer months, pharmacies will be open from 8am and 5.30pm on weekdays except for Thursdays, during which they will open between 8am and 1:30pm.

The summer period will be in effect from May 15-September 17, 2023.

On-duty pharmacies in these areas will be open from 8am until midnight and no on-call service will be provided.

The working hours of the pharmacies in the Mesarya, Karpaz, Lefke and İskele regions were also announced.
